Outside picking

On of the hardest things I find with alternate picking is to switch from an upstroke to a downstroke while changing to a lower string. I've created this etude to get comfortable with this movement. Each pattern start with an upstroke and moves to the lower string with a downstroke while descending. The ascending pattern does the opposite, every downstroke is followed by a change to the higher string and by an upstroke.
